Installation instructions for PC or laptop

Select boot mode UEFI or Legacy (UEFI recommended)

Turn off Secure Boot

Boot to Live
-
On the desktop, run the installer Install D2W_OS

Select language → Next
-
Select region → Next
-
Select keyboard layout → Next

Select a storage device (disk where the OS will be installed)

Select Erase Disc

Optionally add SWAP by clicking on Without swap partition and select SWAP
Install with partition encryption (Recommended!)
- Press Configure Encryption
- Enter the password (for your security, we recommend setting a more complex password) → Next
- Create a password for the user, the rest is optional → Next
- Wait for installation to complete and reboot
Installation on an external drive (USB-Flash, External hard drive, etc.)
To install on an external drive, you will need a USB-Flash with Live and the external drive itself

Connect USB-Flash with Live and external drive to the device

Do the above steps up to step 8 (Choose storage device)

Select the storage device your external drive on which you want to install the OS

Follow the rest of the installation steps
*If you have problems installing the system, please re-read the steps and try again. If you are unable to install the system according to the above steps, then turn off the computer and do not try again
