NukeLuks

The NukeLuks algorithm allows the user to set an "emergency" or "harmful" password to encrypt the data partition. It works on the principle of removing encryption keys from the file headers in an encrypted disk, which does not allow decrypting data on the media under any circumstances.

In order for the algorithm to work, you must set "harmful" password through the master. Further, if necessary, enter a password not for disk encryption, but "harmful". In this case, the keys in the headers will be overwritten, and attackers will not be able to access the data.

Instruction

  1. Launch Dashboard

  2. System Control

  3. Nuke LUKS protection → Setup Wizard

  4. Set a password

Now when you enter a "bad" password from an encrypted disk, your data will be erased
