How to stay anonymous online

Protecting anonymity on the Internet can be a difficult task, but it is possible thanks to the functionality of Dark2Web_OS. We have developed an operating system that integrates many functions to maintain anonymity on the network. For maximum protection, it is required to use not one function, but a combination of functions.

To ensure maximum anonymity on the Internet, a combination of the following methods must be used:

  1. VPN: using VPN hides your real IP address and encrypts data transmitted over the Internet.

  2. DNS: Using an anonymous DNS service helps avoid your information being leaked through a reverse DNS lookup.

  3. TOR: Using this network helps hide your location and identity.

  4. Chains like VPN → TOR → Internet or TOR → VPN → Internet: using such chains increases anonymity and data protection on the network.

  5. Change HostName and MAC Address: The hostname is the name of the device that is used on the network. Spoofing this name and your device's MAC address can help clean up traces.

  6. Setting TimeZone by IP: Some services may use the time in your area to determine your location. Setting a time zone by IP helps hide your location.

  7. Using dedicated browsers: Using browsers that have been designed to provide anonymity, such as Tor Browser and Mullvad Browser, can increase your online security and anonymity.

  8. Turn off location: If you don't want your location to be known, you can turn off the location option on your device and in your web browser.

  9. Using Crypto Wallets: They do not contain personal information and are not associated with a name or other identifying information in any way.

In addition, it is important to monitor your online behavior and avoid vulnerabilities such as using the same username and password for multiple accounts, sending sensitive information over an insecure connection, etc.

*But keep in mind that none of these tools provide an absolute guarantee of anonymity on the Internet.
